Collection: The Thinker
The Thinker reimagines Rodin’s familiar symbol of contemplation through a modern psychological lens. The inward pose suggests intelligence and self-awareness, but also the weight that can accompany seeing too much and thinking too deeply. Simplified forms and restrained color keep the focus on the figure’s interior world rather than external detail. The painting considers the tension between competence and vulnerability: the private struggle of someone expected to function brilliantly while carrying the very human burden of what heightened awareness can reveal.
