Teeming with life, this painting depicts both an above and below view of lotuses in a pond. Under the surface of the water it is teeming with the primordial elements of life and vitality - depicted with beautiful, mehndi (henna) designs in silvery blues, purples and teals. Above we see a sunnier scene with blooming lotus flowers in a warmer, green environment.
